You must be at least 5 years old and 42 inches tall to participate.
If you weigh under 70 lbs, you may be required to ride tandem with a guide or a lightweight sibling, friend, or parent.
Weight/Height Requirements
All guests must weigh under 270 lbs. (Guests under 5’10” must weigh under 250 lbs.)
We discreetly weigh everyone at check-in.

Footwear Requirements
Everyone must wear closed-toe shoes.
No sandals with exposed toes or five-finger shoes.
Shoe rentals are available in limited sizes if needed.
Physical Fitness Recommendation
You should be in moderately good health, able to stand for a couple of hours, and comfortable walking half a mile on uneven terrain.
We strongly discourage participation for individuals with recurring injuries, recent surgeries, or difficulty lifting their legs to waist height.
No "hand braking" required
You will not be required to brake with your hands or pull yourself across the cable.
Our innovative braking system and expert staff will handle everything from start to finish. Your only job is to have a great time!
Participants under 18
Participants must be at least 15 years old to zipline without an adult accompanying them.
Participants ages 5-14 must have an adult on the tour with them.
If multiple young children are participating, we recommend having more than one adult in the group.
No smoking
Smoking is not permitted once you are in the harness.
Individuals Who Cannot Participate
- Those that are pregnant.
- Those with existing or recurring injuries or who have recently had major knee, back, or leg surgeries.
- Individuals with physical or cognitive conditions that may prevent them from safely completing the course.
- Those with medical conditions requiring immediate attention.

Cancellation Policy
If you cancel at least 48 hours before your scheduled tour, you will receive a full refund or have the option to reschedule. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the tour are considered final, and no refunds will be issued. Each tour requires significant preparation and expenses, and due to limited availability, your reservation may have prevented others from booking. Please notify us as soon as possible if you need to make changes to your reservation.
Weather Policy
Our zip line tours operate rain or shine. All cancellations due to weather will be the decision of the CLIMB Works staff, and are generally caused by thunderstorms, heavy rains, or high winds. If this happens we will do our best to contact you before and reschedule or provide a voucher for another time. If you are unable to attend another time a full refund will be given.
Late Arrivals
We ask that all guests arrive 40 minutes before their scheduled tour time. Due to the nature of a reservation business, we cannot accommodate late arrivals and your tour will have to leave without you if you are not here on time. No refunds will be provided.
Dress for the weather
Wear comfortable clothes.
Rain can come and go quickly, so wear clothes that you don’t mind getting a little wet.
Cameras & GoPros
You may bring a camera or GoPro only if it is securely fastened with a strap or similar attachment.
CLIMB Works also takes photos of your experience, available for purchase.
Glasses & Sunglasses
Glasses and sunglasses can be worn.
If you plan to remove them, we recommend using a strap.
Hair ties & Headbands
Long hair must be secured to prevent it from getting caught in equipment.
We recommend bringing a hair tie, headband, or other accessories to keep your hair secure.
Necessary Medication
Bring any essential medication, such as: inhalers, nitroglycerin pills and EpiPens.

Do not wear dangling jewelry Including long necklaces and hoop earrings.

Leave valuable items at home. Free lockers are available for car keys and small items.

No unsecured items are allowed. Items such as phones, keys, and water bottles that could fall while ziplining are not permitted. This policy is in place to ensure the safety of guests and staff on the ground.
How physically fit do I need to be?
Ziplining is relatively easy and doesn’t require special strength. Most people, from 5-year-olds to 90-year-olds, have no trouble participating. However, we recommend being able to stand for a couple of hours, lift your knees to your waist, and walk up a few flights of stairs. We strongly discourage participation for anyone with recurring injuries, recent surgeries, or difficulty lifting their legs to their waist. See requirements above for more information.
Do I need to make a reservation?
Yes. Reservations are strongly encouraged. We will do our best to accommodate walk-ins, but there is no guarantee that there will be openings. During busy seasons, we recommend making a reservation at least five days in advance to secure your preferred time. We are closed on Sundays.
How do I make a reservation?

Do you have bathrooms at your facility?
Yes. Bathrooms are available at our check-in area; however, there are no bathrooms on the tour.
Do you have lockers at your facility?
Yes. We provide small lockers for keys and small items. Everything else must be left in your car. If you choose to bring your phone or keys on the tour, they must be secured. We are not responsible for lost items.
Do you operate in the rain?
Yes. We operate rain or shine. The Smoky Mountain ecosystem comes alive during rainfall, making for an exciting experience. Ponchos are available upon request. However, we do not operate in thunderstorms or extremely high winds.
What happens if severe weather occurs during the tour?
While we cannot predict the weather, our staff is trained to determine when to continue and when to reschedule. Each platform has an exit route to safely bring participants down and transport them back to the main office. Depending on how far you made it through the course, we may offer a reschedule or partial refund.

Will I be hooking myself up to the zipline?
No. Our expert staff will handle everything for you from start to finish.
Will I be have to brake or stop myself on the zipline?
No. You will not be required to “hand brake” or pull yourself along the cable. Our innovative braking system and expert staff will take care of everything—you just have to focus on having fun!
What are the weight & height limits?

Is there a lot of walking?
No. All walking is on decked, even surfaces such as bridges and staircases. There is no hiking on rough terrain.
What should I wear?
Dress appropriately for the weather. We recommend comfortable clothing. Avoid short shorts, loose jewelry, and baggy clothing. Since rain showers can pass quickly, we recommend wearing clothes that you don’t mind getting a little wet.
Do I tip my guide?
Tipping is not expected but is greatly appreciated. If you choose to tip your guides, there is no set amount.
Can I wear sunglasses?
Yes, but make sure they fit securely and won’t fall off if you look down. We are not responsible for lost items.
Can I bring a backpack?
Backpacks are not allowed unless carrying medication. Water stations are available throughout the tour.
My child is at least 5 years old but weighs under 70 lbs. Can they still participate?
Yes, but they may need to ride tandem with a guide or a lightweight sibling/parent. Please inform us of any participants under 70 lbs when making your reservation so we can make the necessary arrangements.
