Mountain Bike Basics
This trail isn’t for everyone, but if you’re comfortable riding a bike, have decent coordination, and are ready to sweat, then come have an unforgettable experience. If you’re up for the challenge, our expert staff is there to help you every step of the way.
We recommend you be in moderately good health, feel comfortable riding a bike, and have decent coordination. We strongly discourage from participating anyone that has recurring injuries or recent surgeries.
Everyone must sign a participant form. Those under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign the participant form.
Individuals Who CANNOT Participate
Those that are pregnant.
Those that suffer from medical conditions that require immediate attention.
Those that have existing or recurring injuries or have recently had major knee, back, or leg surgeries.
Those under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or anything else that impairs judgement.
Those with serious mental or physical handicaps or disorders that would not enable them to complete the mental and physical tasks that mountain biking requires.

Looking for a way to increase camaraderie, team-building, or just a really fun activity? The activities we offer are great for teams, corporate groups, church groups, wedding parties, family reunions, school groups, scouts, etc. The rates are:
• 8+ people: 10% off (year-round)
• 19+ people: 15% off (*seasonal)
• 28+ people: 20% off (*seasonal)
• 46+ people: 25% off (*seasonal)
*Seasonal Group Discounts only apply during the following times:
• April 15 – June 31 (Excludes Saturday on Memorial Day weekend)
• August 15 – March 15 (Excludes Saturday on Labor Day weekend, Saturdays in October, week of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s)
For cancellations 48 hours before your scheduled tour you will receive a full refund or we will reschedule your visit. Under 48 hours all reservations are considered final and no refund will be given. Much preparation is required and expenses are incurred to accommodate each scheduled tour and due to limited space others have likely been turned away for your tour time. Please notify us as soon as possible if changes need to be made with your reservation.
Remember our zip line tours will operate rain or shine. All cancellations due to weather will be the decision of the CLIMB Works staff, and are generally caused by thunderstorms, heavy rains, or high winds. If this happens we will do our best to contact you before and reschedule or provide a voucher for another time. If you are unable to attend another time a full refund will be given.
Not necessarily. It’s more about coordination. Most riders will breathe hard on the uphill, but those who do not feel comfortable on a bike and do not have decent coordination will struggle. Take the trail at your own pace — as fast or as slow as you want. You get the bike for a half-day, so take your time! We encourage you to take advantage of places along the trail where you can rest and take in the sights and atmosphere.
As safe as true mountain biking can be. Unlike most mountain bike trails, our trail is a one-way trail so uphill riders don’t have to watch out for downhill riders. First-timers can ride it slowly with ease and conquer the trail, while advanced riders are free to ride faster to see the trail transform into more technical. We also have call boxes throughout the trail, so while you’ll feel immersed in nature, you’ll always be within reach. While there is inherent risk involved in mountain biking, we’ve done everything to make it as safe as possible.
