Nothing beats the experience of mountain biking in the Smoky Mountains. You’ll have incredible views and get to feel the wind in your hair as you race along our course. Summer is the perfect time to go mountain biking. Not only is the weather great, but so is the scenery! Here are 4 reasons you don’t want to miss mountain biking in the Smoky Mountains this summer:

1. Great for All Skill Levels

Our mountain biking course is great for all skill levels, from beginners to experts. At CLIMB Works, our goal is to push you a little out of your comfort zone, at your own pace of course. Our trail is technically considered an intermediate trail because of its mountain terrain, but that shouldn’t turn beginners away from giving it a try! For your first loop, we’ll have one of our expert staff members take you on a guided tour. This allows you to learn the basics of biking and how to handle the terrain. The guided loop is great for more advanced riders as well because you’ll be able to learn new techniques and tricks. No matter your skill level, you’ll be able to feel confident and comfortable on our course after the guided tour.

CLIMB Works2. Experience Our Expanded Course

When you go mountain biking in the Smoky Mountains this summer, you’ll have the chance to experience our new expanded course! Our mountain biking course is double in length. Now, you’ll have 3.5 miles of trail to ride along! The new course also features gorgeous mountain view overlooks and our one-of-a-kind feature, The Curliest. The Curliest is a wooden, roller-coaster-type structure that is tucked away in the heart of the Smoky Mountains. It’s built over a mountain stream and is designed to offer beautiful views and be easy on the wheels. Everyone will love mountain biking on The Curliest. Advanced riders can push themselves higher, as beginners can take it as slow as they like.

3. Rent an E-bike

You don’t have to own a bike to enjoy mountain biking in the Smoky Mountains. At CLIMB Works, we have bike rentals available for you to use. This summer, in addition to our full-suspension bikes, you can rent an e-bike! These electric bike rentals have pedal assistance that gives you an extra boost and makes going uphill fun. If you’re a little nervous about not being able to pedal uphill, these rentals are perfect for you.
